ABOUT MY WORKSHOPS
If you are looking to improve your photography I offer 1-2-1 and small group workshops focused on helping you make the most of your current skill level.
One-to-one workshop provides the opportunity of taking your photography to the next level. A session can be tuned to your individual requirements, whether it’s in helping to define an approach, composition, exposure or filtration and you don’t need to be an expert – if you are a relative newcomer to digital photography then I can help you put the foundations in place – nothing is more important.
Regardless of what point you have reached on your photographic journey, we often need to redefine the direction of our work and spending a day together may help you to achieve that clarity and vision. All photographers are essentially trying to do the same thing: to make images that preserve their most deeply felt visual experiences.
The day can essentially be designed to accommodate your own preferences.

SOME THINGS YOU ASKED

Please click on a heading below to read answers to the most commonly asked questions about the workshops. If your question is not answered here then please contact me and I will be delighted to help you.

Who is the workshop aimed at?

The workshop is aimed at anyone who wants to improve their photography so photographers of all levels of experience are welcome. Over the course of the workshop I will  work with you on composition and camera technique to enable you to capture the best images possible 'in-camera'. I will give you both practical and technical advice, as well as individual guidance and hands on demonstrations in the field, at locations chosen to both challenge and inspire you. We will also look at the creative side of photography and developing your vision.

What's the workshop programme?

My workshops are organised on the weekends and focus on photography at golden hour.  We will visit a number of diverse locations, all of which will offer you numerous challenges and provide you with ample opportunity to practice a number of techniques. There will also be the opportunity for dawn (conditions permitting) and dusk photographic shoots.
Time allowing, I hope to have the opportunity to review your images in our image critique session, where you'll be able to discuss them with me, and receive constructive feedback.
The workshop has a relaxed format and is designed to be enjoyable as well as well as educational, so aside of improving your photography you can also enjoy the beautiful surroundings and most importantly have fun! There will also be time to relax and have a chat.
